Akshay Kumar wraps up Bellbottom shoooting in Scotland during the pandemic

The film finds itself in the company of a handful of international, mega-budget films that got back on the floors during the pandemic such as Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible 7 and Jurassic Park: Dominion, managing to shoot in an unprecedented environment. In the process, Bellbottom has become one of the first of these films to complete shooting the entire film.

“The new normal has made us realize a different way of working that none of us could have imagined. As much as I’ve been happy to be back on the sets, it’s also important for us to take care of everything around us,” Akshay Kumar told Variety. “We were extremely glad to be able to start shooting for ‘Bellbottom’ after the long lockdown.”

“I hope this encourages film industries globally to do what they do best and start entertaining audiences again,” he added.

Pooja Entertainment presents in association with Emmay Entertainment Bellbottom Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani. ‘Bellbottom’ written by Aseem Arrora & Parveez Shaikh is set to release on 2nd April 2021.
